I help children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with life-changes, unwanted behaviors, or emotional stressors to gain clarity on their issues and empower them to positively transform their lives.
I know the value in working through life's challenges. I have overcome my own emotional and physical struggles that taught me how to understand, accept, and love the person I am today.
My passion for helping others began at a young age and has developed into my life's mission. I received a bachelor's degree from Florida International University and a master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with special needs, behavioral problems, and other social or developmental struggles. I have worked closely with this population, and their parents, providing behavioral therapy at home and in school. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and life's daily stressors. I also have experience working with teens and adults exposed to a variety of mental health issues in an outpatient behavioral setting.
I know the decision to seek help can be difficult. I can assure that my approach is compassionate, solution-focused, and judgement-free.
My ultimate goal is to create an environment where you feel supported in your transformative counseling journey. I can help you in both English and Spanish.
